As we are coming to the end of week two of the Great Awakening, I noticed a couple big changes in my life. The first thing is I received a healing from a nasty sinus infection. The thing had been hanging on and I was getting really tired of it. I got home from one of the meetings a few nights ago and noticed that the sinus pressure and stuffy nose were gone. It was a relief to be free from the pain and discomfort. The second thing is that I am walking in a new level of love and patience. We all have things in our lives that are buttons and if pushed, we just hit the ceiling.
I forget what it was, but one of those buttons was pushed and I didn’t notice it until later. It’s not that I was a horrible and cantankerous person, but there’s just a difference now when working with people. It’s a little hard to describe, but I noticed that I don’t respond to some of the hot points any more. That’s a relief since when we try to change things on our own, there may be success for awhile, but inevitably, we will fall back into our old habits. However, being in the presence of God will burn out unwanted things in our lives. God brings lasting results.-Susan P.
What another awesome and amazing week at the Great Awakening revival meetings here at the River Church of Tampa Bay. It truly is a privilege and honor to be able to be under such anointed preaching from Pastor’s Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne. Every single night is totally different. People are so hungry and thirsty for the things of God. Like the Word says,” those that hunger and thirst after His righteousness shall be filled”! People are calling in from all over the world to our prayer line and miraculous things are taking place. People are getting saved, set free, delivered, and baptized in the Holy Ghost right over the phone.
This is just the beginning of what God is going to do in these last days because America is in such a great need of a revival and a “Great Awakening”. It is so nice to see the Holy Ghost move as He wills throughout every service. Pastor Rodney allows the Holy Ghost full reign and this is true revival. Not one person who attends these meetings leaves the same way that they came in. My wife and I are so excited to be a part of these “Great Awakening” meetings. Last night’s meeting was definitely electrifying. Talk about the fire of God falling! I encourage everyone who can to come and attend some of these revival meetings so you can get touched, refreshed, and filled! I love that every message is about souls and eternity because many people don’t know where they will spend eternity. Let’s all get out there and go into all of the world and share the “Good News” with everyone!-Rickie H.
